Oooohhh, I am really liking this, for a colour shot it actually has an eerie feel to it. The addition of blur at the top of the image adds to the feel, I think you got the right amount of road and roadside in this shot.

Good good job.

Nice photo. It looks almost as though you've taken a picture of a miniature set (maybe it's just me). I love the green mess of the trees in contrast with the smooth texture of the road, almost as though it were the last remaining way out of the growing, ubiquitous jungle of kudzu.

Good job.

did you use a lensbaby on this one? it has that kind of feel to it. i know the stuff you're talking about but never knew it was called kudzu - another day, another bit of knowledge culled from a photoblog!

Very nice with the curve of road and popping greens! Too bad for the trees, though.

Wonderful shot. The colors are vibrant and the focus impeciable. It looks like something from mister roger's neighborhood. We get some kudzu down here but Georgia seems to get the worst of it. One hell of an envasive species.

This has a very eerie feeling. That vine is evil. There should be a movie about it. I love the way you framed this shot. The blur at the top really adds to the creepy feeling. Cheers.

A rather strange but beautiful image. As Constantin has said (and I agree) it does almost look like a miniature set (Jurassic Park!). Those trees do have an eerie feel.

Hello, LOVE your site. I was going 'back' using the previous link, and this one really reminded me of my time in Georgia. I would go to work every day at Hartsfield along Camp Creek Parkway. Many areas there are also covered in kudzu. It grows a foot per day when conditions are right, and hot steamy summers are just right for it.

How do you get that hazy focus in parts, where the image looks like you took a photo of a scale train set or something small? Is that a photoshop thing?</description>
