Evil Gnome

a storm is coming
patient, the evil gnome waits
longing for an arm

Krisvdv.net was my inspiration for this photo. His gnome deffinately looks evil to me, that’s what I was going for here but I think it has more of a sadness about it’s missing limb. In any case, Kris’s photo is great, go check it out. This was taken at this home that is a replica castle. It is just sitting there off of a rural Georgia road with it’s big gates stating ‘personal residence’ and working moat keeping people away. Maybe I will post a shot of that in the future.

He looks like he’s about to launch into some type of oration: “Give me liberty, or give me my arm!”

It’s not evil. It is just a leftover from the set of the French movie Amelie and he is out to see the world.

I never really thought of gnomes as evil, but rather mischievous, whimsical, and amusing. But then I am not much for fantasy stories with gnomes and elves and such things. I agree he does look sad.
