Whatever it was it made a neat texture. Thats a nice color brown on the rust. Something about this pic didn't work so well. It doesn't have the dimension of your other posts.

Fun texture. I think I need to make my walls look like that.

The dark, cracked texture
Clinging to the once burnt shell
Fascinates us all.

like the contrast in textures; the right hand barrel certainly doesn't look to healthy!

Faustina, you really got some fantastic work. Look at the details and darkness of this lovely composition. *Great* work!

The textures and colours on the barrel are fantastic! Suggestion: Maybe it would have been better to crop so only the barrel is in the photo? I find the stuff to the left distracting from the wonderful barrel! :-)

Great detail! Looks like whatever it was, it was pretty corrosive and toxic.

Great textures...the "thing" on the left hand side...is playing tricks with my eyes..it's obviously behind the barrel...but at the top and the bottom it almost looks like it's infront (am I making sense?)

Texture!!! I love the look of this barrel. The colours are great in this photo too (great lighting, how did you do it?). My one suggestion is probably the same as everyone else's. I would have picked one background. Either the green or the rust would have worked great, but with both in there it is mildly distracting. You probably could have shifted the camera a few inches to the right to excluded the green. I still love this though. The lighting and colour really do amaze me.
