    I am influenced by the comments pointing to a “gothic touch” , yes I see that too. My own first impression was : the two eyes are visible, what a hit.

    Hey Faustina, thanks for your encouraging comments on my site this weekend. I tried the link you left for me to Rob Galbraith’s page, but the link didn’t work. I’m really curious to see it though. Can you try leaving me the link again, or telling me a bit about what it was you wanted me to see? Thanks!

    I had a look at your commercial website. Looks really good. You sure do have some excellent photos. Are you a web wizz, or did you have someone else set up the site for you? Whatever the case, it looks really good.

    Regarding today’s photo; I almost like it. The composition is really strong, and the kid is cute. My only niggle is the applied blur. I’m pretty sure it’s blur, not a result of DoF because the kid’s face is relatively sharp, but the hair is not. I think if the hair was as sharp as the face it would look really good. As it is, it kind of creeps me out a bit.

    I do like he softness or whatever it is that uve applied here…at first glance it looks like the focus is all wrong but after staring at the shot for a minute or so i begin to like it a lot…8.5/10

    I like the concept but the focus seems strange, am I missing something or is the little guy out of focus? Interesting gate, gothic finish.
