You can always spot a Faustina picture. The colors are always surreal. Beautiful!

I like this shot a lot. Beautiful subject and composition. Love the stillness of the water, and the one stalk in the front adds a real sense of depth. It’s a touch overexposed for my tastes–I’d like to see more blue in the water. But aside from that one point, it’s great!

  17. Jeff Says:

I love the colors in this image. From the character of the light on the grass on the far side of the pond and the shaded area in the foreground I’d guess that this shot was made in late afternoon. Does that account for the color? Lovely sky tones in the air and reflected in the water. (BTW I love your new site design. And I finally figured out how to properly link to it.)

  18. Pete Says:

  24. Hildegarde Says:

It is strange (the unreal colors) and I like it, the plant in the right front and the cloud in the left up seem important to make the image, at least for me.

These colors give it and old time 1960’s-70’s feel. Cool.

I like that you are not afraid to experiment with colors. While scene itself is beautiful, this coloration gives me shiver on my back. Very nice.
