love the anitithesis that the title and the shot itself seem to form…its just so drab and grey, extremely contrary to the first thing i think of when i hear “painting”…well shot…
I really like this one. There’s not much going on, but it’s the type of photo I sit and look at and end up making up what might have happened. It’s like someone was painting, got interrupted, and this is years later when the paint had worn off and the bucket started rusting away.

Interesting how the planes flatten at the top! If the ground weren’t visible it would look like a one-dimensional stripe.

Neat idea. I like the simplicity of this. The lines and muted tones really make this work well.
